Strategically located in Hamilton, Ontario in the heart of Canada's steel mill and metal recycling industrial area, RK Magnetics (RKM) is a relatively new company led by Ron Slater and Kelly Pooni, who have more than 60 years combined experience manufacturing and repairing all makes and types of electro lift magnets, including scrap, material handling and separation units. Some of our current customers in Canada and the U.S. include Arcelor Mittal, US Steel, Gerdau, Evraz IpscoNA, Alta Steel, Essar Steel Algoma, Ivaco Rolling Mills, National Steel Car, American Iron & Metals, Triple M Metals, Harsco, Lafarge, Tube City/IMS, as well as OEM manufacturers Liebherr Canada, Bateman Manufacturing, Rotobec Inc. and Riverside Engineering.
